Hinsdale, Illinois, is the owner. Hinsdale is a suburb of Chicago.
Northeastern Illinois University, a.k.a. NEIU, Northeastern Illinois State College,
Illinois Teachers College,
and Chicago Teachers' College (Chicago, Illinois) [Yes, it had all these names while Alvin
was associated with it)
Alvin received his training in programming in 1972 at
the Honeywell Institute of Information Sciences (HIIS), where he graduated near the top of his class.
He then went to work for Honeywell as a computer operator. In 1974 he started programming and in
his career has worked for:
Superior Concrete Accessories (Franklin Park, Illinois)

Chicago Title and Trust (Chicago, Illinois)
SXC, formerly ComCoTec (Lombard, Illinois)
Alvin is also a musician, a teacher, a photographer, a long-time staff member of
the Old Town School of Folk Music, a writer, and a storyteller. However he offers those
activities under the name Alvin McGovern (AlvinMcGovern.com). Interestingly as of this writing, February, 2005,
He can also be found on web sites with
